Mission Statement

Johnson County Board of Services’ mission is to provide services to the developmentally disabled citizens of Johnson County in an open, positive, and motivational environment, to improve the quality of life through increased self sufficiency, to foster integration into the community, and to provide these services at the highest quality in an effective manner in accordance with SB 40 and applicable state statutes.

Referral/Eligibility

Primary diagnosis of a developmental disability. Determined eligible to receive support services through assessment by a regional diagnostic center of the Missouri Department of Mental Health, MRDD Division.

Board of Directors Meetings

Usually meet fourth Tuesday of the month at 5:30 pm. Meetings are held at the JCBS Office, 607 N. Ridgeview Dr., Warrensburg, MO. 64093. If special arrangements are needed, please call 660-747-9404.
