Adair County Senate Bill 40
The Adair County SB40/Developmental Disability Board
is the newest Senate Bill 40 Board in Missouri having passed the
levy in April 2005. Our goal is to support the uniqueness of each
individual, to empower individuals and families by actively involving
them in the development of individualized services and supports
needed to maximize independence and to promote dignity and self-respect.

- Independent Living Assistance
- Emergency Housing Assistance
- Supported Employment
- Sheltered Employment
- Transportation
- Community Living/Recreational Activities
- Day Habilitation
- Early Childhood Support
- Information and Referral
- Personal Care Assistance
Referral/Eligibility
Services and supports are available to all Adair County
residents who have a developmental disability as defined by Section
630.005 of the Revised Missouri Statutes. Anyone may refer themselves
or someone else they think would be eligible. Documentation through
medical or educational records is required. Anyone who is a client
of the Kirksville Regional Center is eligible for services.
Board
of Directors Meetings
Meetings are held the second Tuesday of each month
at 6:00pm at the Adair County SB40/DD Board office. All meetings
are open to the public, unless otherwise indicated.
